MAG/SLAB Design

ENGINEERING AN HEIRLOOM

A search for suitable stands to hold my modest collection of vintage M1911 and M1911A1 pistols kept coming up empty.

So I designed something to fit my needs:

  1. I was running out of room in my safe and wanted to take advantage of the vertical space... stand the pistols up.
  2. Handling the pistols in and out of the safe required a device to lock the pistols firmly to the pedestal.
  3. Some of the old magazines are very rare and should be kept with the pistol... hold the magazine safely in place.
  4. I wanted a well built product, something really nice, heirloom quality.

The solution is MAG/SLAB.
