MAG/SLAB Design
ENGINEERING AN HEIRLOOM
A search for suitable stands to hold my modest collection of vintage M1911 and M1911A1 pistols kept coming up empty.
So I designed something to fit my needs:
- I was running out of room in my safe and wanted to take advantage of the vertical space... stand the pistols up.
- Handling the pistols in and out of the safe required a device to lock the pistols firmly to the pedestal.
- Some of the old magazines are very rare and should be kept with the pistol... hold the magazine safely in place.
- I wanted a well built product, something really nice, heirloom quality.
The solution is MAG/SLAB.
